A large share of direct-to-consumer brands sell on Shopify, each from its own domain, so there is no single marketplace to search: every store is its own catalog. Through AgentKey your agent reads any public Shopify store by its domain — allbirds.com, kith.com — the same way it reads everything else — find_tools, describe_tool, execute_tool — without the store owner’s Admin API access.

What you can ask

  • “Is this brand’s website a Shopify store? What currency and country does it sell from, and where does it ship?”
  • “List every product this store published in the last 30 days, with prices.”
  • “Which products on kith.com are on sale right now and still in stock?”
  • “Show every variant of this product with its SKU, price and stock.”
  • “Search this store for ‘wool runners’ and compare the matches.”
  • “How many products and collections does this store publish, and which social accounts does it link to?”
  • “Filter this store’s catalog to one vendor and product type.”
  • “这个 Shopify 店铺最近上新了哪些商品?“

What’s covered

Store profile
  • Name, description, currency, country and city, the countries it ships to, published product and collection counts, and social links
  • A domain that is not a public Shopify store comes back as not found — a quick check of whether a site runs on Shopify
Product catalog
  • A store’s products, page by page — title, vendor, type, tags, price range, sale price, stock, images, options, and every variant’s SKU, price and stock
  • Filters for vendor, product type, tag, title, SKU, price range, on sale, in stock and recently published
Product details
  • One product by its handle or product page URL, with the full variant list
Store search
  • The store’s own search for a keyword, returning its top matches with title, vendor, type, tags, price range, sale price, stock and images

How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:
Address a store by its domain or URL. Prices come back in the store’s own currency, not converted. Catalog filters are applied to each page the store returns, so a filtered page can be short — or empty — while more pages remain; keep paging until the response says there are no more. Always describe_tool before executing: it shows every filter and the per-call cost.
Building with code? Shopify stores are available through the catalog tools above only; there are no fixed-contract Scenario Methods for them yet. See the Scenario Methods overview for the platforms that have them.

FAQ

No. The tools read what a store’s public storefront publishes, and AgentKey holds the upstream access; your agent only needs your AgentKey subscription.
No. Only the public storefront is covered — the store profile, products, variants and stock status. Every tool is read-only.
Any public Shopify store, addressed by its domain or URL — a store on its own domain is addressed by that domain. A domain that is not a public Shopify store comes back as not found.
