AgentKey works with 22 AI agents spanning four categories: command-line tools, IDE integrations, chat clients, and desktop apps. Each agent uses one of three install methods — a one-line shell command, a paste-and-run prompt, or a two-step desktop config. Find your agent in the tables below to see which method applies, then head to the installation guide for the full steps.
Not sure which method applies to your agent? The console get-started flow identifies your agent and gives you the exact command or prompt to run. See Installation for the complete install walkthrough.
One-line command — CLI & IDE (14)
These agents are installed with a single shell command. The installer detects your agent automatically, registers the MCP server, and writes your API key — no manual configuration needed. See One-line install for the commands.

Prompt install — chat agents (7)
These agents don’t have a shell environment, so you install AgentKey by pasting a prompt. The agent fetches the skill from ClawHub, reads its metadata, and guides you through the rest of setup. See Prompt install for the exact prompt to use.

Desktop config (1)
Claude Desktop requires two steps: registering the MCP server via the one-line installer, then importing the agentkey.skill file into the app. See Claude Desktop for the full walkthrough.

Don’t see your agent listed here? The console get-started page includes a “tell us” option to request support. In the meantime, any MCP-compatible or Skills-compatible client can generally be connected manually — the supported list above grows with each release.
