ASOS is an online fashion retailer that sells through separate country stores — the UK, the US, Australia, Germany and the rest — each priced in its own currency, and fashion research turns on something most retail tools leave out: whether a given size is still in stock. asos.com has no public product API and blocks automated browsing. Through AgentKey your agent reads public ASOS listings the same way it reads everything else — find_tools, describe_tool, execute_tool — choosing the country store on every search and reading per-size stock from the product page.

What you can ask

  • “Search ASOS Germany for white sneakers, cheapest first, and show which sizes are in stock for the top result.”
  • “Find Nike hoodies on ASOS UK under 50 pounds, newest first.”
  • “Search ASOS Australia for linen trousers between 40 and 80 dollars.”
  • “Open this ASOS product page — price, brand, colour, and which sizes are left.”
  • “Is a medium of this ASOS jacket in stock, and what colour is the listing?”
  • “Is this dress cheaper on ASOS US or ASOS UK right now?”
  • “List the brands behind the first page of ASOS results for ‘leather belt’.”
  • “ASOS 英国站这条裙子哪些尺码还有货?“

What’s covered

Search
  • Keyword search in one country store at a time, with page controls and a price range in that store’s currency
  • Sort by best match, newest or price
  • Title, price, brand and colour for each result
Product details
  • One product by its page URL — title, price, brand, colour, description, images and per-size stock
  • The store, and so the currency, is read from the URL, so a US-store link returns US pricing and stock
Stores and currencies
  • The UK store is the default; search takes the store as a country parameter and covers the UK, the US, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and Poland
  • Each store is priced in its own currency, and prices come back as that store shows them
Not covered today: customer reviews. For what a piece resells for second-hand, eBay sold listings are the closest comp; for the wider pattern, see product research workflows.

How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:
Search takes the store as a country parameter and defaults to the UK; product details read the store from the URL, and search results carry that URL, so search → product → size check needs no manual parsing. Prices come back in the store’s currency, not converted. Always describe_tool before executing: it shows the accepted country codes and sort values, the page limits, and the per-call cost.
Building with code? ASOS is available through the catalog tools above only; there are no fixed-contract Scenario Methods for it yet. See the Scenario Methods overview for the platforms that have them.

FAQ

No. AgentKey holds the upstream access; your agent only needs your AgentKey subscription.
No. Every tool is read-only — search and product details — and per-size stock is what the store shows online at request time. Sizes sell out, so re-check before acting on it.
The UK store unless you pass a country, which selects the US, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark or Poland instead. Product details take no store parameter: the store comes from the URL, so a link copied from the US store returns US pricing and stock.
