Fundamental research means stitching together a profile, three statements, ratios, corporate actions and the news flow from sources that each cover one slice — and paying for each separately. Through AgentKey your agent reads all of it with the same three calls — find_tools, describe_tool, execute_tool — with AlphaVantage, Finnhub and yfinance behind the scenes, so a missing statement on one route is filled from another.

How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:
Say “annual” or “quarterly” and name the statement you want; the router ranks the matching tool first. Always describe_tool before executing — period parameters, line-item layouts and per-call costs differ between providers.
Building with code? The same capability is available as fixed-contract Scenario Methods with automatic provider failover: finance.company.profile, finance.financials, finance.news.

FAQ

Both. Income statement, balance sheet and cash flow are available at annual and quarterly frequency, and the fundamental time series can be pulled at either frequency for trend work. describe_tool shows the period parameter for each route.
Catalog tools return the vendor’s own layout: some normalize line items, one returns financials exactly as the issuer reported them. If you need a stable schema across companies, the finance.financials Scenario Method returns normalized line items.
US-listed companies have the deepest coverage. Profiles can be queried by ISIN or CUSIP as well as ticker, and company news is limited to North American companies on its route. For China and Hong Kong listings use the Tushare tools described under China A-shares.
