# WeChat Official Accounts data for AI agents

> WeChat Official Account articles with read counts, comments, account profiles and histories, keyword search, viral and reading-growth rankings, WeChat Index.

WeChat Official Accounts (公众号) are where Chinese media, brands and
independent writers publish long-form, and the content is famously unsearchable
from outside WeChat: there is no public API, no web index and no way to see an
article's read count without the app. Through AgentKey your agent reads public
Official Account data the same way it reads everything else — `find_tools`,
`describe_tool`, `execute_tool` — with several providers behind the scenes, so
one route failing does not stop the task.

* Article detail by URL or by UUID, as plain text or rich text, with the full
  body
* Read, like and other interaction metrics; article stats
* Comments on an article and the replies under a comment
* Ads shown inside an article; related articles
* Expansion of a short or intermediate article link to its resolved URL

**Accounts**

* Account info by name, wxid or biz ID, including principal (ownership)
  information
* Historical articles and the account's article list, paginated
* Original-article count; the services and custom menu an account offers
* Account search by keyword

**Search**

* Article search by keyword with publish-time and sort filters; a search for
  AI-generated articles
* Universal WeChat search; search suggestions scoped by business type
* Mini Program search

**Rankings and trends**

* Original viral article ranking and the 100K+ reads article ranking
* Reading-growth ranking and overall strength ranking of accounts
* WeChat Index for a keyword — interest inside WeChat over time

## How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:

Both English and Chinese phrasing work, and the platform's usual English and Chinese names all land here. Always `describe_tool` before executing —
parameters and per-call costs differ between providers.

> refreshed once a day.
