# Douyin (Chinese TikTok) data for AI agents

> Douyin video search, detail and comments, creator profiles, hashtags, live rooms, hot lists and like-surge rankings, plus Xingtu KOL and brand analytics.

Douyin (抖音) is the mainland-China sibling of TikTok and the single biggest
source of short-video attention in the country, with no public read API and
heavily signed requests. Through AgentKey your agent reads public Douyin data
the same way it reads everything else — `find_tools`, `describe_tool`,
`execute_tool` — with more than one provider behind the scenes, so one route
failing does not stop the task.

## How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:

Both English and Chinese phrasing work, and aliases resolve (抖音, Douyin and
"Chinese TikTok" all land here; TikTok proper has
[its own page](/capabilities/social/tiktok)). Always `describe_tool` before
executing — parameters and per-call costs differ between providers.

> request time. The daily rankings describe the previous day and are
> refreshed once a day.

> **Is Douyin the same as TikTok here?**
