# China A-share and Hong Kong market data for AI agents

> A-share and Hong Kong bars, financial statements, holders, margin, Dragon-Tiger lists, indices, funds, bonds, futures and China macro data for AI agents.

China's onshore market has its own identifiers, adjustment conventions and
disclosure formats, and nearly all of it is documented in Chinese. Through
AgentKey your agent reads the full Tushare catalog — A-shares, Hong Kong,
indices, funds, bonds, futures, options, FX, gold and China macro — with the
same `find_tools`, `describe_tool`, `execute_tool` loop it uses for US data,
phrasing the request in either language.

## How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:

```text theme={null}
find_tools(q="贵州茅台最近一年的日线行情和复权因子")
find_tools(q="CSI 300 constituents and weights this month")
find_tools(prefix="finance/tushare")         # browse everything for China / HK
describe_tool("<returned Provider/Operation>")
execute_tool("<Provider/Operation>", { ...params })
```

Say "A-share", "港股" or "可转债" and the router lands on the right subtree.
Always `describe_tool` before executing — most tools take a Tushare code plus
a date range, and several cap rows per call, so long histories are pulled in
date windows.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Building with code?** Tushare backs the China routes of these
> fixed-contract [Scenario Methods](/api-reference/scenario/overview):
> [`finance.quote`](/api-reference/scenario/methods/finance-quote),
> [`finance.price.history`](/api-reference/scenario/methods/finance-price-history),
> [`finance.financials`](/api-reference/scenario/methods/finance-financials),
> [`finance.macro.series`](/api-reference/scenario/methods/finance-macro-series).

## FAQ

> **Which code format do the tools expect?**
>
> Tushare codes carry the exchange as a suffix — `600519.SH` for a Shanghai
> listing, `000001.SZ` for Shenzhen, `00700.HK` for Hong Kong — whereas the
> global quote routes use Yahoo-style suffixes such as `600519.SS` and
> `0700.HK`. Pull the stock list or check the example in `describe_tool`
> when converting between them.

> **Are prices adjusted for splits and dividends?**
>
> The daily bars include forward- and back-adjusted series alongside the raw
> close, and a separate adjustment-factor series covers the full history of
> a stock or a whole trading day, so you can adjust any bar yourself.

> **Do I need to read Chinese?**
>
> No. Tool summaries are Chinese, but `find_tools(q=...)` matches an English
> request, and `describe_tool` returns the parameter list and a ready-to-run
> template. Chinese-language prompts work equally well.
