# TikTok Shop product data for AI agents

> Search TikTok Shop products by keyword in a chosen region and read a product's public detail page by ID through AgentKey — no seller account needed.

TikTok Shop is where short video turns into checkout, and its product pages
are built for the app, not for the open web: every region is a separate
catalog, and the official Partner API only serves sellers and affiliates on
their own accounts. Through AgentKey your agent reads public TikTok Shop
products the same way it reads everything else — `find_tools`,
`describe_tool`, `execute_tool` — naming the region on each call.

## What you can ask

* *"Search TikTok Shop US for 'LED strip lights' and give me the top results with prices."*
* *"Keep paging through TikTok Shop results for 'yoga mat' in the UK until you have 100 products."*
* *"Open this TikTok Shop product in the Indonesia region and summarize the listing."*
* *"Is this product on TikTok Shop in both the US and the UK, and at what price in each?"*

## What's covered

**Search**

* Keyword search within a selected region
* Offset and page-token pagination, so a multi-page search can be continued
  from where it stopped

**Product details**

* The public product detail for a product ID in a selected region — inspect a
  known product after search or catalog discovery

**Regions**

* Both operations take a region; look a product up in the region where you
  found it, since IDs and prices belong to that regional catalog

Not covered in the catalog today: reviews, shop listings and best-seller
rankings for TikTok Shop. Those are available as Scenario Methods (see below).

## How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:

Prices come back in the currency of the region you selected, not converted.
Always `describe_tool` before executing: it shows the region field and its
accepted values, the pagination tokens, and the per-call cost.

> **Do I need a TikTok Shop seller or Partner Center account?**
>
> No. AgentKey holds the upstream access; your agent only needs your AgentKey
> subscription.

> **Which regions can I query?**

> Both operations take a region parameter. Run `describe_tool` to see the
> accepted values rather than assuming a country is supported.

> **Can I read reviews, a shop's listings or best sellers?**
>
> Not through the catalog tools today, which cover search and product detail.
