# Etsy product data for AI agents

> Search Etsy listings, read a listing's price, variations, stock and materials, and look up an Etsy shop's sales, rating and active listings through AgentKey.

Etsy is the marketplace for handmade, vintage and print-on-demand goods, and
much of what sells there is defined by the shop behind it — its sales, its
reviews, its range. Etsy's Open API needs a registered app with an approved
key. Through AgentKey your agent reads public Etsy listings and shops the same
way it reads everything else — `find_tools`, `describe_tool`,
`execute_tool`.

## What you can ask

* *"Search Etsy for personalized dog collars under 30 dollars, newest first."*
* *"What are the top Etsy results for 'habit tracker 2027', and which of them are ads?"*
* *"Open this Etsy listing: price, variations, materials and where it ships from."*
* *"How many sales and reviews does this Etsy shop have, and what is its rating?"*
* *"List everything this shop currently sells, with prices."*
* *"Which listings in these results are discounted from their original price?"*
* *"Etsy 上搜手工银饰，按价格从低到高。"*

## What's covered

**Search**

* Keyword search — the same results an Etsy search or /market page shows —
  sorted by relevance, newest or price, with a price range and page controls
* Title, price, original price, image, shop, rating and an ad flag for each
  listing

**Listings**

* One listing by id: price, images, description, rating and review count,
  shop, category, variations, stock, ship-from country, favorites and
  materials

**Shops**

* A shop by name: location, sales, active listings, rating, review count,
  followers, description, logo and banner
* A shop's active listings, a page at a time, with title, price, original
  price and image

## How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:

```text theme={null}
find_tools(q="personalized dog collars on Etsy under 30 dollars")
find_tools(q="Etsy 上搜手工银饰")
find_tools(prefix="ecommerce/etsy")         # browse everything for Etsy
describe_tool("<returned Provider/Operation>")
execute_tool("<Provider/Operation>", { ...params })
```

The listing id is the number in a listing URL, and search results carry both
the id and the shop name, so search → listing → shop chains without manual
parsing. Always `describe_tool` before executing: it shows the sort values,
the currency of the price filters, and the per-call cost.

## FAQ

> [accordion] Do I need an Etsy developer or seller account?
>
> No. AgentKey holds the upstream access; your agent only needs your AgentKey
> subscription.

> [accordion] Can it read a shop's orders or revenue?
>
> No. Only what Etsy shows publicly — listings, the shop page with its sales
> count and reviews summary. Every tool is read-only.

> [accordion] How fresh are prices and stock?
>
> Every call goes to Etsy at request time; nothing is served from a stale
> archive. A price is what the listing shows at that moment.
