# Douyin Shop product data for AI agents

> Search Douyin E-commerce products, read item details and SKU variants, page through buyer comments and list a shop's products through AgentKey.

Douyin's shop lives inside the app, where products are sold through short
video and live streams, and it is one of the most closed marketplaces an agent
can face: no public catalog API, and nothing rendered on the open web without
an app session. Through AgentKey your agent reads public Douyin E-commerce
data the same way it reads everything else — `find_tools`, `describe_tool`,
`execute_tool` — from a keyword search down to the SKU list of one item.

## What you can ask

* *"抖音商城搜 '洗地机'，列出前 20 个商品和价格。"*
* *"这个抖音商品有哪些 SKU 规格，分别多少钱？"*
* *"Summarize the buyer comments on this Douyin item."*
* *"List the products in this Douyin shop, page by page."*
* *"Search Douyin Shop for 'camping tent' and keep paging until you have 50 results."*
* *"Compare this Douyin listing's SKUs and price with the same product on Taobao."*

## What's covered

**Search**

* Keyword search with page and search-ID pagination, so a multi-page search
  continues from where it stopped

**Product details & SKUs**

* Item details by item ID — inspect a known marketplace item
* SKU information for an item — the purchasable variations and their options

**Comments**

* Paginated customer comments for an item by item ID

**Shops**

* A paginated product list for a shop by shop ID — browse a known seller's
  catalog page by page

## How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:

```text theme={null}
find_tools(q="抖音商城这个商品的 SKU 规格和价格")
find_tools(q="buyer comments on this Douyin Shop item")
find_tools(prefix="ecommerce/douyin-ec")    # browse everything for Douyin Shop
describe_tool("<returned Provider/Operation>")
execute_tool("<Provider/Operation>", { ...params })
```

Prices come back in yuan, as the listing shows them, not converted. Aliases
resolve (抖音商城, Douyin Shop and Douyin E-commerce all land here).
Always `describe_tool` before executing: some operations are listed in more
than one version, and it shows the exact parameters, the identifier expected
(item ID or shop ID) and the per-call cost.

## FAQ

> **Do I need a Douyin account or shop access?**
>
> No. AgentKey holds the upstream access; your agent only needs your AgentKey
> subscription.

> **Can it read live-stream prices or creator-only deals?**
>
> Only what the public product page carries: the item's details, SKUs,
> comments and the shop's product list. Prices tied to a live session are
> not a separate feed.

> **How fresh are prices and comments?**
>
> Every call goes to the platform at request time; nothing is served from a
> stale archive. A price is what the item shows at that moment, in yuan.
