# Capterra reviews for AI agents

> Read Capterra reviews for a software product by URL, with sub-ratings, pros and cons, and the reviewer's job title, company size and industry, through AgentKey.

Capterra is where small and mid-sized businesses pick software, and its
reviews are built for exactly that decision: an overall score with
sub-ratings, a pros and cons pair, and the reviewer's job title, company size
and industry, so a buyer can weigh reviews from companies like their own.
Through AgentKey your agent reads Capterra reviews for any product the same
way it reads everything else — `find_tools`, `describe_tool`, `execute_tool`
— sorted the way the question needs.

## What you can ask

* *"Compare Capterra pros and cons for Slack by reviewer company size."*
* *"What do Capterra reviewers in healthcare say about this practice-management tool?"*
* *"Pull the most complete Capterra reviews of this product and summarize the cons."*
* *"How does this CRM score on Capterra's sub-ratings, and where does it fall short?"*
* *"Show me the lowest-rated Capterra reviews of this product from companies with fewer than 50 employees."*
* *"Open this Capterra product URL and give me the newest reviews with each reviewer's job title."*
* *"Which pros come up most often in the highest-rated Capterra reviews of this tool?"*
* *"Capterra 上中小企业对这款 CRM 的评价怎么样？"*

## What's covered

**Identifiers**

* Reviews for a product by the URL of its Capterra product page

**Ordering and limit**

* Most recent by default, or the most complete reviews first, highest rated
  or lowest rated
* A `limit` on how many reviews come back; set it to fetch only as many as
  you need

**What comes back**

* Overall rating and Capterra's sub-ratings for each review
* Pros and cons as the reviewer wrote them
* The reviewer's job title, company size and industry

## How to use it

Pass the request in plain language and let the router pick the tool:

```text theme={null}
find_tools(q="Capterra pros and cons for Slack by reviewer company size")
find_tools(q="Capterra 上中小企业对这款 CRM 的评价")
find_tools(prefix="ecommerce/capterra")     # browse everything for Capterra
describe_tool("<returned Provider/Operation>")
execute_tool("<Provider/Operation>", { ...params })
```

Capterra sits in the E-commerce branch of the catalog. The review tool takes
the product's Capterra URL, so a link copied from Capterra works as is. Set a
`limit` to fetch only as many reviews as you need. Always `describe_tool`
before executing: it shows the accepted sort values and the per-call cost.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Building with code?** Capterra is available through the catalog tools
> above only; there are no fixed-contract Scenario Methods for it yet. See the
> [Scenario Methods overview](https://docs.agentkey.app/api-reference/scenario/overview.md) for the
> platforms that have them.

## FAQ

> [accordion] Do I need a Capterra vendor account?
>
> No. AgentKey holds the upstream access; your agent only needs your AgentKey
> subscription.

> [accordion] Can it reply to, flag or post reviews?
>
> No. The tool is read-only — reviews come out, nothing goes in. Nothing is
> posted, answered or reported.

> [accordion] What isn't covered?
>
> Product search and product profiles: there is no Capterra search tool, so
> start from the product's Capterra URL. Reviews of the same product on
> [G2](https://docs.agentkey.app/capabilities/ecommerce/g2-reviews-for-ai-agents.md) are read by its G2
> slug or URL, and consumer brands are reviewed on
> [Trustpilot](https://docs.agentkey.app/capabilities/ecommerce/trustpilot-reviews-for-ai-agents.md).
